Privacy notice

Last updated: 1 November 2026

Who is responsible?

Cae Schlick, operating the UNIO initiative in a personal capacity, is responsible for personal information submitted through the interest form (the data controller).

What we collect

Your name, email address, selected participation category, optional message, whether you request updates, and the time your registration is submitted. Technical systems may also process connection and security information needed to operate the form.

Why we use it

We use your details to review your expression of interest, respond to you, and plan the development of UNIO. If you separately opt in, we may send updates about UNIO. Submitting the form does not create a membership, investment, or profit-sharing entitlement.

Legal basis

We rely on your consent for optional marketing updates. For processing an expression of interest and responding to enquiries, we intend to rely on legitimate interests in developing the initiative and responding to people who contact us, subject to a documented balancing assessment before launch. You can object to processing based on legitimate interests.

Where information is stored

Registration information is stored using Supabase in its London (UK) project region. Service providers may process technical information in other locations. We will review and document any relevant international data transfers before launch.

How long we keep it

We will retain enquiries only as long as necessary for the purposes above. A specific retention schedule and deletion procedure will be established before launch.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you can ask to access, correct or delete your data, restrict or object to processing, and withdraw consent to optional updates. You can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
